Roadwise Summer Camp 2013!

The 2012 summer camp road crew!

The summer camp, which takes place at the Bantry Driving Academy’s state-of-the-art training facility, offers a unique opportunity for children aged between 10 and 16 to learn about road safety in an off-road environment.

They’ll get to learn road cycling skills with our Bikeability-trained cycling instructors, and they’ll practise car maintenance in our Maintenance Centre.

They’ll learn the basics of driving on our amazing driving simulators too, and drive (if their legs are long enough!) with our ADI instructors in a dual-control car in the safety of our practice tracks. It’s never too early to learn about how to use the roads safely.

Spaces are limited for the Roadwise summer camp which runs from 16th-20th July. Book now to avoid disappointment.

Test Your Driving Skills on the BDA's Simulators

Dads love to boast that their driving skills are fantastic. But what would happen if you put those skills to the test?

An Original Father’s Day Gift

As Father’s Day approaches, and you’re struggling to think of an original present for your dad, why not buy him a voucher for 30 minutes on our state-of-the-art driving simulators, and find out exactly how skilled and safe he is behind the wheel.

26 Tests of His Driving Skills

The simulators offer 26 programmes which test a driver’s skills in all kinds of road and weather conditions. The three, incredibly realistic, screens create a virtual reality environment, so you feel like you’re out on the road. And while you’re meeting the challenges the simulated journeys offer, you’ll get a running commentary on your mistakes, and advice tailored to improving your driving techniques.

Why not book in jointly with your father and compete to see who is the most skilful person behind the wheel?
