Now we’re helping those learners to gain valuable road experience as they prepare for their motorbike tests.
Practise Motorbike Skills on our Practice Track
Arrange your motorcycling lessons through the BDA, and you’ll be able to practise your new road skills on our practice track with a fully-qualified motorbike instructor. The two-day training course, divided between Bantry and Cork city, will ensure that you get to grips with all of the theory, and practical skills you’ll need to become a safe motorcyclist.
Gain Valuable Road Experience
The BDA is equipped with a kilometre of roadway, and, here, you’ll get to practise dealing with roundabouts, filter lanes, right-hand turns, and the other road challenges all motorbike learners have to face.
Instead of learning road skills alongside busy traffic, you’ll have the chance to practise on an empty off-road track first, building up to the point where you’re comfortable driving alongside other cars.
Build your confidence and learn road skills for bike users without the distraction of having traffic around you.
Practical Information
The new graduated learning scheme for motorbike users means that, once you’ve passed your theory test, you’ll need to acquire a learner’s permit to proceed with your lessons.
Your practice sessions at the BDA will be supplemented by expert training in motorbike theory, and practical bike-handling skills; that training will be conducted in specialist RSA-approved facilities in Cork city to ensure that you have the full complement of skills the modern biker needs to ride a motorbike confidently and safely.
Whether you’re returning to motorcycling, or you’re just starting out, call us to find out how we can help you learn vital road safety skills.
