Did you know that where the gross vehicle weight is more than 750kg, you are required by law to hold a full ‘BE’ licence?
The gardaí are now actively checking to see that drivers of vehicles towing trailers are qualified. Without a category BE licence, you are not insured to drive with a trailer and could be prosecuted.
