Polishing Your Driving Skills

[singlepic id=69 w=320 h=240 float=right]You’ve already passed your test and you’re a good driver, but there are still a few driving skills you avoid using too often. If reversing into a parking space is your bugbear, or parallel parking makes you nervous, we can help. Whether you’d like to know how to change a wheel, or you want to be able to handle roundabouts more confidently, it makes sense to brush up on your driving skills before the bad weather sets in. Just let us know what you need to work on and we’ll go from there …

Regaining Your Confidence

Sometimes an accident, or time away from driving, can dent a driver’s confidence in their own abilities. Driving involves taking on a lot of responsibility, and that can cause a lot of anxiety at one stage or another in your driving lifetime. Caution can be a good thing behind the wheel, but if your anxiety is making it difficult for you to make safe choices quickly, it’s a good idea to step back, and take time to refresh both your skills and your confidence.

Helping Nervous Drivers

We specialise in offering refresher driver training to nervous drivers who are looking to build up their confidence behind the wheel. When you practise using your driving skills with an Approved Driving Instructor on our private track, you’ll be able to concentrate on building your skills without having to worry about having other cars around you. We’ll work with you on the track, and then — when you’re ready — we’ll progress to lessons on public roads until you’re happy to drive confidently by yourself again.

Lessons Tailored to Your Needs

When you book your training session, we’ll chat with you about your concerns. Then, when you visit us here at the Bantry Driving Academy, we’ll help you work on the issues that you need to tackle. It might just take a lesson or two for you to regain your confidence, and soon you’ll be driving alone again, without anxiety.

You won’t regret going back to driving school for a few hours.
It’s never too late to learn to drive differently!
